Congress approved an emergency appropriation to get Jebediah a proper rescue vehicle (not like the last one), so let's get to the Mun and rescue that boy!
Of course, since the Kerbal Space Agency doesn't have a proper budget yet, and might not get much money when they do get a budget, they won't be able to deflect that asteroid they just discovered which is heading right for Kerbin. They think it will only take out an area the size of Delaware though, so no worries. We have to keep a tight grip on that budget, after all!
Because all that money we're saving by underfunding the space program will do us so much good once a big asteroid smacks into the planet and causes a mass extinction. ;)
