Back in 1983, the video game industry was all but dead after the gaming world collapsed under the weight of its own, misguided ambitions. In the mid-80s, Nintendo entered into the mass-market, and vacant, video game business with the release of the Famicom, or Nintendo Entertainment System, and the industry has marched forward ever since. In this episode of Say Hello To, Ross takes us through the fabled history of the venerable console that many credit for saving the video game industry.
