The MIDI music in Perfect Cherry Blossom, Imperishable Night and Phantasmagoria of Flower View were all made for the SC-88Pro, but unlike Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (in EoSD the 88Pro MIDIs are the originals) they were only included as a quick bonus. In other words they wont sound as good as they could. In some cases, the MIDI versions may be based on earlier versions of the WAV tracks.

The history of the lunar capital.
The capital on the far side of the moon. A history so long that Gensokyo's can't compare
in the least. And that capital is slowly but surely......

This is Eirin Yagokoro's theme.
Impossible courage, ferocity, and vigor--
This theme combines all of those, making for a ridiculously foolish and energetic song.
All the energy and foolishness culminates in the final boss (really?), so the act itself of putting this song in a shmup is lunacy.
I didn't want to get caged in on a theme for this one.

八意 永琳のテーマです。
ありえない程勇ましかったり、激しかったり、爽やかだったり。
一つだけ共通しているテーマは、物凄く馬鹿みたいに元気である事。
元気と馬鹿だけがラスボスの取得なんですから（えー）というか、こんな曲でＳＴＧって言う事自体がルナティック。
表現のテーマは檻に囚われてはいけないと思う。
