Description:

0:16 Grand Cerulean Temple
The layout of this place looks a lot like the underground of the Grand Dark Temple, only fancier.
The king sacrifices several of his troops to summon the Giant. Supposedly, this thing managed to beat the Dark Mother, but it might be weaker due to being summoned with so few sacrifices. It also uses the same sprite as the golem enemies, which is disappointing.

The king has tanking abilities just like his son. As long as you kill the archer quickly, you should be able to maintain an advantage against the boss.

The king tries to do some kind of trick to take the party down with him, but hesistates when Sanguine restores the zombie prince's consciousness. She then detonates the prince, killing the king once and for all.
Spiderweb plans on enacting a false flag operation to justify a war against the other two countries, but the Overseer of the Spirit of Light declares war on her first, so she doesn't need to do so. She also plans on instigating a civil war in the Scarlet Empire, which is gong to tie into the plot of the next game.

Looks like Spidervenom is going to team up with the traitorous prince of the Scarlet Empire, if I'm reading the Steam page right. Maybe she's doing this to repay her debt to Spiderweb?

Not much changes with NGP, but all your items from the previous run are automatically sold so you can start with more money. Gear sets are available earlier and you can also access Legendary Gear, which is overkill for the final boss. I still don't know how to get to that island at the SE part of the map.
