Scaler is yet another game that surprised me in a good way. I really wasnt expecting much from it but right off the start your met with a really well designed and scripted storyline that gets you into it before the games even allowed you to press a button.
The graphics in this game are really nice for a 2004 Ps2 game. I think this was a time that developers had learned certain skills of development for the system, and it was an era of showing those skills off? well, scaler does a good job of showing what the ps2 can do.
Its a really imaginative and colourfull game that has hours of gameplay. Checkpoints at times can be a bit few and far between meaning you sometimes need to redo parts of levels you wished youd never see again. But it all adds to the challenge.
If your looking for an entertaining game that will last a while then id reccomend taking a look at Scaler.
