9Beware of recent Facebook and Instagram scams!
Scammers post ads to pretend as a legitimate businessman selling hourly maid service or food delivery agents
Scammers will give you a link to install their app which require you to enable the app to read your text.
They will then request you to make an upfront payment using their app. This is how they get your bank ID, password and OTP.
Once they have the info, they will start transferring your money away, the more bank accounts you used to make payment in their app, the more money you will lose.
Beware and remember the following points:
1) Never trust contact acquired online
2) Never click on unrecognized link
3) Stay alert always
