Sometimes you want to schedule a task to run one an hour, once a day, once a week and one of the ways that we can do this is through the use of cron jobs and a complementary system in the form of anacron jobs. Today we're going to take a fairly complete look into how cron jobs work on Linux and don't worry I will do a video on systemd timers eventually.
