You can always cancel into ground bounce and then do some basic juggles if you'd rather not cause the transition, and if you're pulling off a 100% on their first health bar I suspect you'll want to stay in the plaza.

Depending on your spacing and timing after the interactable trigger, you can guardstun them with 2, 2 1, D+1, or Toasty Poke.

Note that they have no reversal window and the guardstun occurs before they get full character control back.
