The soundtrack for Scorpius (スコルピウス) released on the Sharp X68000 in 1991.
Scorpius feels like the ultimate PC fan game and a love letter to shoot 'em ups. The soundtrack is extremely familiar and quite nostalgic even if you've never heard it before. But it never feels derivative: more like it has themes that could actually be part of the soundtracks of its inspirations.
