To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Emmy® Awards, the Television Academy is rewriting the script for its exclusive Emmy after-party celebrations: The Governors Ball (Sept. 17, immediately following the awards telecast) and back-to-back Creative Arts Governors Ball Celebrations (Sept. 8 and 9). The Television Academy’s Governors Ball Committee invites you to preview the trio of celebrity-studded galas that will make a dramatic move to the rooftop setting of the L.A. LIVE Event Deck, where guests will be treated to an unforgettable celebration for the senses, illuminated by a myriad of stars suspended overhead.

About the Event
The preview will showcase the glamorous décor, lavish dining and interactive experience of this transformative Governors Ball: Sequoia Productions will activate thousands of LED lights in the Emmys Under the Stars design element; Patina Catering will provide up-close culinary demos with tastes from the menu of more than 35 fine-dining small plates; Sterling Vineyards will pour the soon-to-launch Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon, which debuts at the Governors Ball, as well as the flagship Iridium Cabernet Sauvignon, which Emmy winners will receive as a personalized bottle in the Emmy Winner’s Circle; award-winning bartender Charles Jolywill share how to make the Ketel One Vodka official Emmy cocktails; Ferrari Trento will host a tasting of the flight of sparkling wines guests will sip while toasting Emmy winners; and special performances by Reverb Tap Company and The Scott Mayo Collective featuring Sheléa. Contributing Television Academy corporate partners with activations at the preview include: Audi®, Don Francisco’s Coffee, FIJI® Water, L’Oréal® Paris, and Lindt Chocolate.
About the 70th Emmy Awards and the Creative Arts Emmys
The 70th Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 17, (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET/5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on NBC. Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as co-hosts. The 70th Emmy Awards will be executive produced by Lorne Michaels (Saturday Night Live; The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon).
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will air Saturday, September 15, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FXX.
