Scout is so much better now because of Deep Rock Galactic's Update 34. The Deepcore GK2 is better for new players and players that haven't run many Deep Dives yet. The M1000 Classic is a better battle rifle now, which seems to be the developer's goal. A more "skill-based" weapon or build option could still fit and be what some players are craving. Hopefully we'll see something in Deep Rock Galactic's Update 35.

The Jury-Rigged Boomstick is a smidge better in Deep Rock Galactic Update 34 but it's Shaped Shells overclock still needs some help. Cryo Minelets and Embedded Detonator NUK17s are seriously going to see a lot more play time from me. Having another way to freeze enemies with Cryo Minelets or getting more damage from Embedded Detonators are good enough that I'll swap off my Special Powder Boomstick for some NUK17 play. Deep Rock Galactic Update 34 is great for Scout players.
