In this video, Scramble Spirits, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Teque/Grandslam.
Set in the indeterminable future and sealed in our vintage fighter plane, we must fight hoards of deadly opponents and that's all we have to know in this vertical shoot'em up made of pure action without second toughts. Ah, it's also a port from the original arcade version with the same name.
Scramble Spirits is graphically nice with a smooth vertical scrolling even when there are many sprites on screen, thanks to the restricted playing area. We can select between standard ST sound fx and catchy chiptune music. Playability wise the game is good with a balanced difficulty.
