G'day guys Mennace here with the first of many Scrap Mechanic News Updates, in these videos I plan to cover all new content, updates and information related to Scrap Mechanic and with the release of the game I have some great stuff to share with you, so let’s get into it.

The 20th of January the game was released for the general public on steam for twenty US dollars. I t currently features creative mode with the option for locally hosted multiplayer which you can activate via steam. Since then we have receive d a few updates, focusing on the game running smooth. So far the fix for resolution issues is being tested and planned for implementation soon.

As for the future so far the devs have confirmed that a welding tool will be added at some point which will allow structures to loop back on themselves, and I am hoping it can connect bearings back on to isolated structures, we will have to wait and see. They have also confirmed a piston block will be added, instead of players having to create one from in game parts and they have also expressed the interest in mod support. If this is added, the game could open up infinite possibilities and would could create an amazing gaming experience.
