Scrap Wood Art Project | Part 2 - Best Long-Term Value
Guess what! It's still not done. It's closer, though. Dude, I could look at wood grain all day. ALL. DAY. And it's so easy to find beautiful wood grain. You can crack open any ol' piece of scrap wood or tree limb or old post and find beautiful artwork inside.
To be clear, when I say "nice things" in the video, I don't mean name-brand look-at-me novelty garbage. I'm talking about sturdy, long-lasting, quality tools that won't break or wear out. And, of course, consumables that come in large quantities at low prices, as long as it's something that you know you're going to use anyway.
Oh, and I eventually found out why there were so many nail holes in that post. There were boards nailed to that side, sticking out in alternating directions, as part of a fence.
