SS13 has been a game i've orbitted for a long time- its helped me make many friends, helped me realize I was trans, and gave me company many, many lonely nights.
But as I got back into it, I realized just how... awful, space station 13 is- don't get me wrong, not the game, but rather those who run it and act as administration for it.
I've had countless cases of staff members harassing and targetting me, being aggresive without reason, genuinely finding any excuse to ruin my day- for reasons I am still presently unaware of. I've had experiences where staff flip tickets around on me just to artificially punish me, experiences where they would blow up fun moments for no reason then go out of their way to damn me for it.
This isn't just one server, but on multiple servers I have been on- staff are too prideful, and believe they actively must fight the players rather than work with them, and whenever there's a good staff members, they relentlessly attack them until they are forced to quit.
I'm tired of it, and rather than waste my time making a vent piece of faking together a video feigning positivity, i'd rather just scrap it all and move on with my life, and stop letting it occupy both my brain space and my disk space.
I've found healthier spaces to be, I took the good few friends from SS13 and chat with them still, but overall, its not a game I recommend to anyone, not unless if you know a private server with good moderation.
This, is a bit long and winded, i'm rambling at this point- thank you for watching and letting me get this off my chest. I stream for sure every saturday over on twitch, and have a discord server over that way, have a good one.
