Hello all, here is some of my footage I taken, of an old Dundee bus being broken up at a scrap recycling centre.
The bus is an old Volvo B7tl with Wright Gemini bodywork. It was new to Travel Dundee ( City bus operator owned by National Express), back in winter 2004, then retired from service in winter of 2021, (about a year after Mcgills (Greenock),took over the Dundee bus company from National Express ownership ).
I know this bus well ,I remember it new, and I've driven it many times. Its from a batch of 18 identical buses of its kind ,that all came new to Dundee in 2004. ( buses numbered 1 to 18).
