While revisiting the classic War of the Worlds LP or digital download for all you hip cats out there, who don't know what vinyl is yet.

It gave me inspiration to try and make a Steampunk version of the classic death machine that came out of the cylinder pods that crashed into the earth.

Using an old tripod and a selection of plastic bits a pieces this became the basis for the build.
