I have been interested in improving my drawing skills for some time. Over the last couple of years, I have had the opportunity to spend lots of time in the realm of imagination just writing music, making animated videos, 3D modeling, and of course drawing. Part of my refinement of this skill is doing a drawing class. Let me warn you I am still learning but I thought with all the turbulence in the world today the observation of a man engaged in a quiet, peaceful, and creative journey will have some value.
The goal is to take any real object I have around my living space and draw it. Keeping my eyes on the object while making a pencil drawing of the curves. Then draw the object a second time switching between looking and the object and what I am drawing on paper. Once I have successfully completed this assignment I will have made 20 object drawings. I have left in some of my mumblings in the video's audio track, there were also some birds singing in the background if you can pick that out. Maybe there is some insight into the random things I speak about while making these.
You will see me do some warm-up drawings before starting the main project. Yes, I realize the scriblings should have 2 b's. I guess I will make more of the title art too :D enjoy .....
