On 27 October 2018 SIMIODE - Systemic Initiative for Modeling Investigations and Opportunities with Differential Equations (www.simiode.org) held SCUDEM III 2018 (Student Competition Using Differential Equation Modeling - www.simiode.org/scudem) for high school and undergraduate students in teams of three at 40 sites in the United States, Cameroon, Iran, Pakistan, and India with some 400 students and over 100 coaches participating from 90 schools.

Complete details on this annual event – SCUDEM IV 2019 will take place on 9 November 2019 - including all past competitions - modeling problems, student offerings, fun MathBowl, faculty development, problem author's comments on what makes a good model, and more are available at www.simiode.org/scudem.
