Scurvy is for the Weak - Last Wood
1Last Wood is an RTS Raft survival indie game created by Just US GameLab. In this game the player take control of two survivors lost on the ocean with nothing but a few platforms and an orange tree. The blocky simple shapes don't take away from the gameplay at all. A matter of fact, because the graphics are simple, surviving with the game's mechanics can be focused on more. However, it is hard not to ogle at the water. The game currently does not feature a tutorial to get the user started, so the player may restart after the first run. The other issue with the game is the UI appears to not fit very well with the rest of the game's look. Though know that this is still in development, it does not take away from what the game can and will become. With the fear of starvation, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and of course seagulls stealing your oranges the game will bring a different take on the survival genre.
