So, you just got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, Black Friday, your birthday, or even next year, but you're torn on the choices for memory cards, the first question you should ask, will you be buying all of your games physically, or digitally? The second question you should ask, are you buying games that require large downloads onto your Switch?

Just be warned, there are a few games that do require heavy downloads, like NBA2K18, WWE2K18, LA Noire, and NBA Playgrounds is over a 9GB Download.

If you plan on playing only Nintendo branded games, rest assured you will not need much storage, and may not even need a SD card.

If you want your library entirely digital, then I recommend 128-400GB

If you want your library as physical as possible, then you can get away with 32-128GB

How many people would pay an additional $10 if these games that require 20GB downloads could actually fit on the cartridge? This is a bad practice that should not be supported on the Nintendo Switch, much like loot boxes on non-free to play games.
