Otterbox Pros:
+ Side Bezels are much better protected
+ 2 extra layers of protection(Rubber layer plus a clamshell holding a layer in)
+ Thicker

Otterbox Cons:
- Quite a bit heavier
- No kickstand
- Ports are annoying to open up if you don't have fingernails
- $60(Should be $30)
- Holster is useless

Samsung Rugged Case Pros:
+ Much lighter case
+ Movies do look a lot better with the size bezels exposed
+ A kickstand
+ Wireless charging is more reliable

Samsung Rugged Case Cons:
- Sides are not very well protected, so a front facing drop is a lot more deadly
- $40, should be $15-20

For a better looking phone, I recommend the Samsung case
For durability, I heavily recommend Otterbox, especially if you are clumsy.

You will need screen protectors either way, but don't waste your money on Zagg, get something cheaper or made for Otterbox.
