21In this short Sea of Thieves guide I will run you through how to complete a riddle map found from a message-in-a-bottle quest.
A Message in a Bottle can be found randomly along the beaches of islands. They must be picked up, which then adds a free map to your team's map selector. The map can be a Treasure Map, Riddle Map, or Bounty Map.
Although small, a Message in a Bottle can be seen from a distance as a periodic glint of light sparkling on the shoreline, similar to the Spyglass and Eye of Reach glint effects.
