Searching for Race Tickets - Episode 2 - Shantae - Let's Play Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero!
3Hello lovelies, and welcome back to Royal Gaming Battalion's Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero Let's Play!
Today, we continue our search for gator steaks so we can get the race tickets to find Uncle's copper wire! Seriously, who keeps stealing this stuff? I swear, Uncle must leave it laying out in plain sight for people to see! You might say today's Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero Let's Play episode is more of a filler episode, but that's okay! All good programs have some filler in them, right? Right!
We backtrack through the two levels we've already cleared in the game to see if we can find anything, but to no avail. Turns out I was missing a crucial power up when fighting the gator enemies in the second level!
This Let's Play Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero is shaping up to be one of my favorite Let's Plays for a game so far! I think me and Jack have some good chemistry together! Which makes sense - we're friends first and entertainers second.
It's funny to think that a couple of aspiring actors are making Let's Play videos as well, but I think that's where our strength comes from - in moments of complete ridiculousness, we can
Tomorrow we'll have another episode uploaded for our Overwatch Ranked Mode gameplay. Our plan for Friday is to have a one-off episode for Metal Slug 3, where we both suck at the game equally!
This weekend, we'll record some more Shantae and Overwatch footage for you folks! We'll also be starting a series for Mario Maker, where Jack takes the helm for a change! That should be pretty nice, since Mario Maker is one of his favorite games.
Shantae reminds me a little bit of Mario, in terms of the powerups and tight platforming controls. Obviously, Shantae's gameplay is vastly different, but they are both very nice platformers in their own right! Don't you guys agree? I'd like to think you do!
