Clearly the SEC are taking the AMC and GME manipulation seriously, and wish to get to the bottom of exactly how many synthetic shares there are out there, right now.
Additional capital requirements have also been implemented for large banks, requiring them to carry more cash if they carry a higher risk level. Up to 13/14% of total assets!
