In this lecture we started the next barrier of immunity which is second line of defense. Second line of defense is a non specific mechanism which is activated after entry of foreign microbes into body tissues. It comprises inflammatory response, temperature response, complement system and mechanism of different leukocytes.we also discussed the different types of blood cells especially types of white blood cells.
