Secret Agent Clank - Early Developement Reel (demo builds research infos in description)
From the US PSP demo main menu. You must wait for a couple of minutes on the main screen without touching anything for this movie to play.
While searching for this I also found out that this demo, along with both US versions of the game for PSP and PS2 actually have all languages inside. They just adapt to whatever the system language is. (This also applies to HIG's previous game, Size Matters).
There's a catch tho: To boot the US demo specifically in another language you must first start the game with english system language. Then, when you see the "legal screen", you can enter system settings (only possible on PPSSPP tbh, as once you boot a game on real PSP hardware you have to exit the game to be able to change language) and switch to your preferred language. Main menu will still be in english but after you start, the game will have its first cutscene AND the rest of the game in your chosen language. (This happens due to the fact that, according to the console log, the game seeks, for example, for the italian legal screen "LEGAL_ITA.PMF" but it returns error "file not found" and the demo crashes on startup. We do this to prevent the build from crashing basically. Also, I highly suggest making a savestate on the title screen so that you don't have to constantly swap system language on the emu).
US demo (NPUG70011) seems to be an earlier build than the Apr 20, 2008 prototype, while EU demo (NPEG90010) seems to be a later build since it features the same SAC reel found in the main menu of the final release and the retail EU menu image, although it still has some localization mistakes (at least in italian).
I can't pinpoint the exact date of both demos, but again, state of the localization in the US demo is earlier than the april prototype (i.e. if you choose italian as your language, Ratchet's weapons still carry their Size Matters name in some instances and there are almost no italian helpdesk voice lines), while on the EU demo it seems more advanced.
Also worth noting that Boltaire QTE minigame seems to be easier in US demo, while in EU demo it is as difficult as retail (if not harder in some bits? I'm not sure tho, because this game has dynamic difficulty adaptation based on your performance in the rhythm game and if you perform good, it actually gets harder)
I see research for this game on TCRF is kinda lacking, so I hope these infos can be helpful for those who are taking care of the page for this game.
