Mr. Dax found himself trying to find information when does the Wuthering Waves launch so he proceeded to the official website. He couldn't find the launch date there so he got angy.
It is fair to point out that devs don't want to risk their servers being overrun by all the players at once during launch but this argument doesn't hold when it comes to Steam. And for non-Steam games my question is: Why can't you just give players a time window that will be 1-2h after when you're actually going to launch it so the people REALLY waiting for it who happen to find out earlier will be there.
I believe it's important for games to build a momentum on launch and the way games are launched nowadays makes it feel like some things are being unnecessarily left on the table.
