Secret of Mana - Defensive Magic Only Run - Stream 03 - Part 7
0This is my third stream for Secret of Mana which was hosted on September 24, 2015 at 0900 EST and went on for roughly three hours before stopping.
My goal is to find out how hard the game is to beat without using attack magic, which normally breaks the game. To add more misery to pain, I am denying myself healing magic from Undine which is your primary source of health.
Since this is a echo of a Twitch stream, there are going to be some technical issues such as missed frames and dropped sequences due to bandwidth issues as well as audio level inbalances, most should be eliminated by now however. Despite this, please forgive those and enjoy the playback!
In this 8-part stream, we leave Flammie in the good hands of King Truffle and head for Kakkara Desert. We get captured on a Republic Sand Ship and forced into labor but instead end up fighting Geshtar of the Empire. We then find out both the Fire Seed and Salamando have been stolen and all clues lead to the Ice Country. Once there, we discover the Scorpion Army kidnapped Salamando and Santa Claus stole the Fire Seed. Once both acquired, we head back to Kakkara and restore the seed. We then travel to the empire and traverse the sewers from South Town to North Town, discovering a resistance right under the Empire's nose.
