After fighting a few bosses at the East Ruins, we now have a bunch of orbs for weapons. I didn't realize that Watts can actually be found in the inn at Northtown of the Empire, so I go straight to the Emperor's Castle after talking to the resistance members at the cafe.
Since we still need to grind levels on weapons, we take our time fighting enemies here. We also cast a lot of spells, and raise most of our magic levels to level 4, now that we have four orbs.
After collecting some more orbs from the treasure chests, we move on to the boss - Geshtar, a.k.a. Mach Rider / Mech Rider. Our magic doesn't seem to do much against him, so we just start whacking him with weapons until he dies.
After that, the King of Matango arrives with the Flammie-Drum, and summons Flammie, who is all grown up now (That didn't take long!). Anyway, we have to the town of Mandala, and visit there. We also purchase a few armor items, and then visit the shrine/temple north of the town, just for kicks.
We wrap things up at the entrance to lofty mountains, though I now realize we have some other places to visit first....(part 14).
