Edit: 2/12/2024 - I'd like to add that I'm aiming for the platinum trophy for this game - This means I have to collect all equipment, including armor and rings/wrist armors. For this, I waited until after video 18, and backtracked to the Underground City (the urban and futuristic-looking area) - I farmed the Cockatrice Cap from the Basilisk enemy and the Ninja Glove from the Dark Stalkers. Once inside the Grand/Mana Palace (the place that looks like every other seed palace from the game), I farmed the Guardian Ring from the Doom Sword enemy and the Amulet Helm from the National Scar enemy. I also received a Watcher Ring from what enemy I can't remember, but it's an essential farm for the equipment and platinum trophies - though that ring can be farmed from the Eggplant Wizard in the Pure Lands (which you can see me do in later videos).

Thanks to Icleus from Steam Community for providing a guide on finding rare drops and missable items:

Original post:

So, our party heads to the Sunken Continent, after "finding true courage" by defeating our shadow clones in the cave behind Sage Joch. After visiting the Grand Palace and recruiting the mana spirit "Dryad", we head to the underground city on the same continent. There are some mazes and small puzzles here, but we get through. We then make way back to the Grand Palace, but the "main" part, which is much larger than the other part of the structure we visited to recruit Dryad.

Unfortunately, I started getting really sleepy last night, so I got stuck at a puzzle here, and well....turned the video off and went to sleep. What's more, is that I found out that I am missing some rare-drop items from enemies that become much less frequent after leaving the underground city. So, I might have to back-track a bit before completing this section of the game. If I do back-track, I will catch back up before the next video, and finish the Grand Palace area before moving on.

Thanks for watching.
