Secret of Mana PS4 playthrough, part 14 - side-quests, Lofty Mountains, Shadow Temple
0In this video, we head out around the world on Flammie for a bit. For starters, we pick up the Midge Mallet from Gaia's Navel. We then head to Turtle-Shell Island, and pick up the sea-hare's tail. We then go to Kakkara and give them the tail, which restores the village - For that, we're awarded the Moogle Belt.
We also travel to the lighthouse island, to help complete our character guide (we're aiming for 100 percent completion in a single playthrough. After that, we head to the Gold City, and pick up some gear. We waste money on some of the poorer armor choices, though we have to own at least one of each armor piece to get all trophies.
After that, we return to the Lofty Mountains. We visit a bird (who is actually Sage Joch), who tells us to go to the Shadow Temple in cave near the beginning of the mountain area. We head down there, take out the boss, and get a couple of orbs in the process.
After that, we return to Sage...the bird guy-thing, who tells us to head to the Gold Tower. We upgrade our armor again, this time having optimal armor for each character, for the time.
I am actually grinding some spells and weapons in between videos, to "trim the fat" and keep the videos shorter and more interesting, so we'll be a little better-equipped in the next video. For that, we will head to the Gold Tower and onward.
