1Our annual trip to the secret sand dunes, near dugway.
The Secret sand dunes are always an adventure.
Its only an hour or so away from Salt Lake City, but its not near anything.
The dunes used to be used for military testing, and parts still are. There is an old military watch tower for observing explosions and such, and you can occasionally find old used aircraft machine gun rounds in the sand.
We come for the tumbleweeds, for the wind, and for the dunes.
