I have been seeking (read: chasing) the IPP Award Winners recently, and have been buying a few of the past winners to see what they are all about. For anyone not aware of IPP, it stands for International Puzzle Party which is usually hosted annually. At the event many designers and creators will share their works and awards will be given to the best designs by vote and expert panel judgment.

This time I am going to share my thoughts and review of the Mondrian Blocks by Laszlo Mero, Gergely Kapolnas, Imre Kokenyesi. It won the Jury's 1st prize in 2019 IPP39.

It is a mass produced puzzle by Smart Egg, and comes in 4 different editions, blue red white and yellow. All builds around the same concept but the pieces inside are slightly different and contains 88 unique puzzles each. Check out my video for a detailed reviews and contents of the Mondrian Blocks!
