2The Garcade's Ghost Squad's GD-ROM drive... gave up the ghost... last month. there are alternatives that don't involve Dreamcast sacrifice. your Media Board has to be capable of booting from compact flash, but once you have done so you will be able to load games off CF instead of GD-ROM. multiple forums have people saying this method is slow, but this is a real time demonstration of the load time from power on to the game running.
