SEGA GameGear: Fixing Noisy Lines on the LCD Mod
13Some time ago we recapped the black GameGear and installed another RetroKAI LCD Mod. The console worked rather well after that, but had one small problem: During gameplay there would be noisy, flashing, horizontal lines at the right border of the screen. While it didn’t affect gameplay it was rather annoying. I emailed RetroKAI and they immediately sent me instructions for a workaround, saying that the Quartz for the pixel clock on the GameGear had gone bad. Let’s try and apply this fix, and see if it gets rid of the noisy lines!
