Be forewarned, if you attempt to screw around with FEL, before a proper hack is released...you could soft brick your system. So, please be advised, for now...to just enjoy the system for what it is...unless you fully understand the risks involved!
I have been asked this dozens upon dozens of times, already...before the system was even out:) Like the MD Mini 1, PSC, etc, I alerted you all in advance that yes, they could be hacked. It is simply a matter of when and the resources being handy to do so! In the case of MD Mini 2, much like MD/SNES/NES, it is quite helpful for FEL recovery mode to be able to be accessed. You know, power+reset to flash kernel, all that fun stuff!
Windwaker in our Discord has confirmed on his end, with a nifty test, that having a USB A to USB A cord, from port 2 of the MD Mini 2 to your PC allows FEL mode to function! This is very very positive news. Again, this is just a preliminary test! I will also do some testing, on my end, once I get the Updated posted over the next day or so! Then, I am hoping we can get the MD Mini 2 working with RetroArch and all the other fun Xtreme stuff many of you have become accustomed to over the last 6 or so years now of the Mini Classic Scene!!!!
