This recording is a combination of music from the Sega Channel demo ROM and the Comix Zone beta. As far as is known, only one track of the Comix Zone music was actually confirmed to have been used on the Channel, but since the popular "Sega Channel Experience" video includes those songs, I've included them also. Unfortunately this soundtrack is far from "complete" and probably never will be as the Sega Channel adapter loaded in new content from over its cable connection, so there is tons of music and graphic content that is probably lost forever. We are quite lucky that the demo ROM survived or else there would be even less of Sega Channel out there.
Background:
I did some digging into the various existing ROMs looking for more stuff and came up empty handed. The official firmware contains nothing but the startup sound effects and one song (Baker's Funk). The earlier menu demo ROM, even though it is silent, contains the same sound and music as the other demo, so no new finds there.
The American SC firmware uses a very simple "scripting" system based on a function pointer table at the start of the ROM that allows for basic programming of menus, screens, and music across different revisions of the software (only two I think). As stated, most of the graphics and music were delivered this way and are probably long gone, unless the supposed CD's given out to cable companies still exist.
The Japanese Sega Channel ROM is a completely different piece of software and needs more checking out as well.
Thanks to "mario" for helping round up some ROMs and the request.
Thanks to BigBangBlitz for the original Sega Channel Experience video, for the list of tracks and some of the track names.
