New games for classic consoles used to be few and far between but in the last half a decade or so, that has changed. A LOT. The Sega Genesis seems to be one of the more popular platforms for new releases by independent developers. This could be due to Sega’s choice to focus on off the shelf, easily accessible, hardware that is well documented. One new title that is coming out, The Cursed Legacy by Broke Studio, is currently full funded on Kickstarter and still has time available for any late backers wanting in on an interesting run and gun game.
