I recently got this from eBay. It is a really cool looking controller and it feels great when playing. It is compatible with PC and pretty much any other device that accepts USB Controllers, including the upcoming Sega Genesis Mini (which should have included 6 button controllers in the first place). Great to use on emulators. It has 8 Buttons. Of course it looks like a 6 Button Genesis controller but the extra 2 buttons are L and R buttons on top. The mode button was actually moved below the Start button. It also has a 10 foot cord.

Sega and Retro Bit teamed up to release this. It costs $19.99 and was released earlier this year. They have it in original Black, as well as Transparent Blue (which is the one I have here) They also released new controllers that can be used on a real Genesis. They look exactly like a real Sega Genesis 6 Button Controller. Also in the color schemes of Black and Transparent Blue.

In this video, I open the box, look and feel the controller, and compare it to the original 6 Button Controller, as well as the slightly smaller Japanese Mega Drive 6 Button controller.
