Sega says the new Sonic movies have revived the company financially and it’s in a great place. They also said that they’re looking to make other Sega games into films to capitalize on that success. Imo I think this could be the catalyst that sets Sega back into the hardware and console making business. Movies can be so profitable and it would be amazing if they took some of that cashflow and used it to make a new Sega system!
