Sword & Sorcery (ソード&ソーサリー) is a turn based RPG for the Sega Saturn console system that developed and published by Microcabin in 1996 exclusively for the Japanese market. The game is also known as Lucienne's Quest (Panasonic 3DO , 1996 - NA).

Lucienne set off on her journey with one companion, Ago, a young man cursed with becoming a werewolf at night. The quest begins with the simple task of trying to find a cure for Ago's problem, but soon Lucienne becomes embroiled in a much bigger story..

Sword & Sorcery is an interesting, old fashoned RPG with some interesting ideas/mechanics like the dynamic day/night system which serves little purpose other than changing one of your party members from human into a werewolf and back.
It's gameplay is pretty standard for a turn based RPG of that era and the story progression comes after specific events. As for the overall presentation...well, let me set it as...it didn't age that well. You see, all these first-gen 2.5D & 3D RPGs look quite obscure ~nowdays~ because of their overly pixelated graphics. BUT...(!!!) do not let that trick or fool you into believing that Sword & Sorcery is a bad game! Not at all! The story development is really interesting and the same goes for the character development. Besides, Microcabin created from ex-SquareSoft members with good experience working on projects like the Final Fantasy. The scenario pacing is good enough to keep you focused on the screen for a long time. Also, it's full of funny moments.

If you cannot read Japanese, be sure to check the localized 3DO version.
