Sega Smash Pack Volume 1... what on Earth should I type here to describe ya...
Well, for starters, there was never a Volume 2 to my knowledge (unless you count the GBA game and the PC versions which practically have 12 games between the two). The games largely play identical to the originals that it emulates... but there are glitches and strangeness in some games and the sound in other games will drive purists absolutely bonkers. It's not such a loss though.
Several of these games are such classics that you'll even be able to overlook and forgive some of the flaws on here and possibly almost enjoy this game. The games included are Altered Beast, Columns, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star II, Revenge of Shinobi, Sega Swirl, Shining Force, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage 2, Vectorman, Virtua Cop 2 and Wrestle War.
