This game is interesting not simply because it's like Resident Evil on a ship. This game is interesting because it features a lot of the same fixed camera angles as those found in Resident Evil but is actually more three-dimensional when everything is said and done. For instance, you can scan the area with your BEM-T3N scope and actually see down a fixed hallway or around a fixed corner or across a chasm not ordinarily in view, which is part of a 3D model, not just a pre-rendered background. Speaking of the scope, another interesting aspect of the game is checking for infected humans, though it's not quite as cool as it sounds. Of course, this game is a lot like Resident Evil when eveything is accounted for.

RE is much better just for the dialogue alone, and I don't want to start accounting for other things. Still, this game is noted as one of the best RE alternatives for Dreamcast and I'd have to agree. It's not a terrible game, it's just not a fantastic game. Enjoy.
