Let's start at....the beginning! The House of the Dead had to start somewhere...and it started on the Model 2 arcade board. Sega came out of the gate strong and created one of the most memorable retro gaming experiences of all time as The House of the Dead was a massive hit for Sega. To this day if you want into an arcade there is a 50/50 change you will find an OG House of the Dead arcade cabinet!
But it introduces us to G and Thomas Rogan, two major characters moving forward into the franchise...along with Dr. Curien...another mainstay of the franchise. It's arcade retrogaming video game history gold!
Oh and OF COURSE we will be talking about the prototype release of The House of the Dead as well...known as "The House of Dead"
