The lack of sound is merely because this game's Attract Mode lacks sound-it is NOT a rendering fault.

Anyway- SEGASonic Arcade was a mostly Japan only arcade game (If my memory is correct, the now-defunct SEGAWorld London also had a unit) developed by SEGA-AM3, also responsible for the acclaimed Virtual On, Last Bronx and SEGA Rally.
