Seijin Plays Mega Man 3 (Part 1)
3I felt like a random playthrough of Mega Man 3. Felt like recording it. There you go. (This is also a throwback to my very first playthrough I uploaded on YouTube, now removed because the quality was really terrible.)
When I play a game like this on my own, I tend to try to do it in unusual fashions. In this case, I start with an unorthodox stage (Gemini Man), I try to kill most bosses without their weakness (or at least, over half their health), and overall just try to do stuff for fun.
I'm not perfect or anything like that, but I consider myself pretty experienced when it comes to Mega Man 3, so you'll see a lot of mistakes and a lot of interesting play alike. Enjoy.
Gemini Man : The strategy for the first half of the battle is simple enough once you know what to do, but I totally messed up the second half. I tend to use the Rush Coil to dodge him "just because" (since it's easy enough to simply jump over him), but I messed up every execution of it this time. It looks really sloppy. x_x
Top Man : That went very smoothly.
Magnet Man : My usage of the Top Spin during the stage is just for fun. I like to use it, and it's a vastly underrated weapon. Against Magnet Man, I intentionally collide with him when he uses his magnet pulling thing because it makes him stop that attack immediately. My sole goal with taking damage intentionally there is to save time. The battle goes really fast like this, doesn't it? I think it's more interesting this way.
Shadow Man : I can kill him with just the regular weapon with no E Tank, but not consistently. And, indeed, this wasn't my best performance by any means. Ironically, it's his shuriken attack that gives me the most trouble.
Needle Man : I can do so much better against him...
Hard Man : I was always pretty bad against Proto Man in this terrain. And I always have trouble avoiding Hard Man's knuckles for some reason. I felt like just killing him quickly here, as opposed to previous bosses.
Snake Man : That went relatively smoothly, although the stage could have been better.
