Subject: This game is also known as Secret of Mana 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 is probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time along with the tales series and so I decided to do a playthrough of it. This can also be considered somewhat of a walkthrough I suppose as I've played this game before and know somewhat of what I'm doing when playing. We will be doing Lise's story in this playthrough.


We manage to escape Bucca Island thanks to our sea friend and arrive at Free City Mana. (Or at least near it.) From there we finally head to Forcena to talk to King Richard and he tells us there are four more spirits we need to obtain. Afterwards we continue our search to find the remaining spirits starting with Undine the spirit of water who is found on Altena.


You can actually head to either Altena or Valley of Flames it doesn't matter which of the two spirits you obtain first. I just decided to find Undine first as Sub-Zero Snowfields is more difficult than Valley of Flames in my opinion. This is the point of the game where things start to become more difficult as the enemies become stronger and more dangerous. By this point of the game you should be nearing the level that is required to get your first class change. (Level 18 is what you need to be at.) Anyways as I mentioned this is the point of the game where the enemies start getting tougher and it shows. I was actually surprised at how strong some of these enemies were especially the Shagagins. If you happen to have a mage in your party you're going to want to protect them from these guys as they'll tear them apart if you let them. Sub-Zero Snowfields is also kind of a long area so make sure to well stocked on healing items as well as put some in storage as you might be caught off guard you're first time playing. As long as you don't let the enemies overwhelm you, you should be alright! You can also level up quite a few times here as they give great experience.


The Machine Golems make their return and this time there are three of them. They are actually pretty strong this time around and also have more abilities which most of them hit all the members of your party. That being said you definitely are going to need to be prepared or at least at a decent level before entering here. My current level or any higher will be fine but any lower then this you might have a rough time. This isn't too difficult of a boss battle but the Machine Golems can take your HP down pretty easily especially now that there are three of them.
