Subject: This game is also known as Secret of Mana 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 is probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time along with the tales series and so I decided to do a playthrough of it. This can also be considered somewhat of a walkthrough I suppose as I've played this game before and know somewhat of what I'm doing when playing. We will be doing Lise's story in this playthrough.


Info: Now that we have obtained Jinn we are free to head back to talk to King Richard. As we get a free ride to our destination we notice something's not quite right when we wake up. After exploring the ship a little we find out that the ship is in fact haunted. We also find out that Shade the element of shadow is on this ship in so we make our way through The Ghost Ship to find him.


The Ghost Ship is actually one of my favorite places of the game though boy do I hate the enemies here. This ship is filled with a lot of zombies and overall just annoying enemies. Be sure to buy items that can heal status effects as you can expect to get poisoned here a lot. Halfway through the ghost ship you'll lose a party member as they get cursed and become a ghost. You're first time playing the game it most likely will be your main character since that's the character you'll probably be controlling when you talk to the ghost. If Angela's the ghost I think she's the only character that can actually transfer the curse to somebody else. (I don't think I had Carlie be the ghost before.) Knowing this I switched to Duran and had him be the ghost since he was the furthest ahead in experience. This place along with the boss probably would've went faster if I had him instead of Carlie but I like to have a healer in the party. Also if you noticed I switched to Carlie after losing Duran that's because the AI isn't careful enough with her as she can die pretty easily here do to having weak defense. You can actually afford to skip out on the equipment here as new equipment will be available in the next place but I bought weapons just so Carlie could take a little more.

Gorva the 7th boss of the game is another boss that's easier if you have Angela otherwise the fight might take a little while since he likes to float too high to hit him. Being that I didn't have her nor a strong damage dealer this fight took a bit longer. Anyways Gorva is a bit of pain as most of his magic attacks hit everyone. Luckily Carlie has pretty good magic defense so they don't take much off of her. He's also capable of silencing a party member which if you don't have Angela or Carlie during the fight is useless. Aside from that this fight overall is not too bad of a fight.
