Subject: This game is also known as Secret of Mana 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 is probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time along with the tales series and so I decided to do a playthrough of it. This can also be considered somewhat of a walkthrough I suppose as I've played this game before and know somewhat of what I'm doing when playing. We will be doing Lise's story in this playthrough.

We continue our journey to defeat the eight God Beast. We head to Moonreading Tower to take on the God Beast of Moon.


There actually isn't all much to say about the Moonreading Tower. In my opinion it is one of the least interesting dungeons. It basically involves making your way up the tower by finding the right room to go in. (Usually one of the rooms the right room out of 3 rooms.) It's pretty straight forward and doesn't have much to it honestly. As for how difficult this dungeon it isn't too harsh. The wolves are the main threats here but the rest of the enemies are at least tolerable in my opinion.


Dolan is in my opinion the most difficult God Beast. (Weakness is Wood I think otherwise he doesn't have one.) Like Land Umber, Dolan is also really aggressive. One of Dolan's most common attacks is when he slams his hands on the roof of the tower which hits all party members. There are two variations of this attack. One is called Graviton Press which is a more powerful version of the attack and also lowers your evade and hit rate. The other version of the attack causes you to go mini. (Not sure if that's the actual name of the status effect but you know what I'm talking about.) He also isn't shy of abusing this attack which makes this fight painful. His other dangerous attack is Spiral Moon which is not only a devastating attack but it also lowers your max HP temporarily which makes his Graviton Press even more deadly. There's actually a way to restore your Max HP back to normal instantly without waiting for it to return to normal. Though I didn't do this till the end of the fight, you can use the Chibikko Hammer to turn yourself mini then use it again to turn yourself back to normal and it'll negate that status effect. (This might work with other status effects too.) Overall Dolan is quite a challenge and can easily give you a run for your money if you aren't prepared. (Take note in how many times I actually needed to heal this fight.) I would recommend saving Dolan for later or possibly last. He doesn't have too much HP but he's a pretty dangerous God Beast.

On a side note Dolan has possible the best boss theme in the game which is exclusive to him only.
